passed away peacefully at home on 12/28/2003. Full notice Thursday.

Betty Kohanek Dies
June 5, 2003: Betty Evelyn Kohanek, 80 of Brea, a homemaker, died Sunday June 1, 2003 of natural causes. Services Saturday, June 7th at Saint Angela Merici Catholic Church in Brea CA. Arrangements by Jensen’s Sierra Vista Mortuary LLC, Arizona.

Kohanek Product Worn at Olympics! Feb 2002: Michael Kohanek (son of Cleon and Betty) owns a company in California called Hair Glove. It's a hair accessory that was worn by Picabo Street in the recent Olympic games. She was also interviewed on the Today show on 2/7/02 and was wearing one.
